Many fruits are imported to us in Gambia, mostly from southern Senegal.

Our goal is to grow as many tropical plants as possible here as well.

Not everything grows straight away, but we already have a wide range of fruits on our farm.

Maracuya

The passion fruit not only impresses with its unique taste, but also with its antioxidant and alkaline properties

 

Thanks to the high content of vitamin B6, passion fruit can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

 


Papaya

The peculiarities of papayas include their low fruit acid value, the high content of vitamin C and, above all, an enzyme called papain. The fruit is considered to be a slimming agent, because papain supports the intestines with protein digestion and accelerates fat burning.

Soursop

The soursop looks quite interesting. An extremely tasty pulp is hidden under its spiked dress. It is extremely healthy and its healing properties are exceptional and the list is very long.

 

A very healthy tea can also be made from its leaves.


Banana

The banana provides numerous vitamins (provitamin A, vitamin E, C and B group) as well as minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and iron.

 

Rich in fiber, it is a good "filler". Of all fruits, they have the lowest salt and highest potassium content.
